Shadow of Locust by Jason Just 05/09/02

This beautiful piece and the one directly below are two covers created by Jason for his three part campaign series run in "books" for the Shadow World setting.

Shadow of Locust (Book One)
This campaign sees the lands of Hæstra torn asunder in a genocide that obscures the lands in a black cloud, represented in the image of the knight's armour dissolving into the foul effusions of spores from the corrupt Ministry of Agriculture of Sarnak working with K'ta'viir geneticists/parasitical entities known as the Dædekemani.

Hunting Divine Whispers
by Jason Just 05/09/02

This beautiful piece and the one directly above are two covers created by Jason for his three part campaign series run in "books" for the Shadow World setting.

Hunting Divine Whispers (Book Two)
This image shows Hexzerin, the First Adherent of the Church of Scalû, god of Nightmares, who has woven a web of terror in dream within the city of Sel-kai, stripping its people of dreams and aspirations while maintaining a shadowed control over events - he is represented in his dream form and his power over his domain hidden from the eyes of Reann is absolute.

Guardian Beast
by Steve Goss 04/18/02

This was a guardian beast that my players had to fight in order to acquire the Serpents Eye. It was an aquatic beast that lived in the half submerged ruins of the temple of a fire god. The characters were low level at the time so its main attack was a Grapple (with its mouth) followed by acid criticals. It was drawn to the Serpent's Eye, so a Halfling warrior monk held the gem and was guaranteed to always take its attack. Adrenal defense kept him from being hit and the other PC's finished it off.

Orc for ICE by Patrick Frisch

Patrick actually sent this piece to use some time ago, and we've used it on our homepage and on the 404 error page since then. But I thought it would be fun to post it here full-size.

Patrick also has a great website with more of his great art called "Fuzztoons". Thanks Patrick!
