Hi,
I wanted to congratulate the team at ICE for producing the best FRPG I've seen for many years. HARP is a fantasy role-players dream-come-true. I love the simplicity and style of the game as well as the detail of the combat system, which is truly enjoyable. I have played AD&D, D&D 3rd edition, Traveller 1st edition and my favourite till now MERP. I have Rolemaster boxed set & found the rules complex & exceptionally detailed, which I like, but it was difficult to find other players who wanted to play. I think you have found the right balance in HARP! I have always found ICE products to have great style and atmosphere. Thank you for providing the gaming world with some of the best quality games ever. I do hope you will continue to grow from strength to strength. I will certainly do my best to spread the word and encourage as many people as possible play HARP.
I am nearly 40 years of age and am just getting back into gaming after a few years absence. This time I am introducing my 9 & 11 year old kids to FRPGs. They love it, and I have found the experience has been of tremendous benefit to our family. My children cooperate with each other instead of squabble, their relationship with me has strengthened and I am able to teach them good principles of social behaviour through the medium of the game. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Could I ask you a big favour? Please could you tell me when the supplements for HARP will be available in the United Kingdom. I have recently bought the revised HARP core rules book & look forward to Martial Law, Monsters: A Field Guide, College of Mages & the Limited Edition rule book.
With gratitude,
Steve B. in the UK
