What was once a small fishing village, is now a bustling port. Adventurers flock from all around to loot the recently discovered catacombs. However, most never return to the surface.
Your party are drawn to a busy port beneath which there is rumoured to be expansive catacombs littered with high quality loot. The town is buzzing with locals selling all manner of equipment and supplies to the brave adventurers. With a little investigation however, the team will realise that all is not what it seems. While the locals tell tales of adventurers that have left the catacombs with armfuls of gold, there are none to be found and their explanations as to why seem very suspicious.
The pen is mightier than the sword
Religious zealots believe that the written word is an affront to the Gods and are marching on the grand library to destroy it. They must be stopped.
The Zealots have cut off all means of reinforcement and the only people defending the library are the adventurers and the library’s old and frail staff. There is no way of covering all the entrances of such a large and sprawling building. You will need a plan… and traps, lots of traps.
A house divided against itself
The high priest has died and warring factions within the church are now causing death and destruction to the surrounding areas. It must be stopped.
The high priest of an influential church has died and now those that surrounded him vie for power. However, with accusations of foul play concerning the high priest’s untimely demise, the power struggle has become violent and the pious are the ones to suffer.
